Really Right Stuff TVC-34 Mk II
The TVC-34 MK2 is a Series 3 Carbon Fiber Tripod from Really Right Stuff. It is a 4-section tripod with their Versa apex that allows it to fold up to a closed length of 21.1" while extending to a maximum height of 58.5" It has a maximum load capacity of 85 lbs while weighing only 4.4 lbs. The ergonomic, ribbed, and rubber twist-lock grips allow for quick leg setup and collapse in any conditions, even when wearing gloves. O-rings keep joint threads clean and help provide tactile feedback. Additionally, the 3-position legs feature independent spread for easily achieving level, even on uneven terrain, and the spring-loaded leg angle pull tabs have visual lock/unlock indicators for secure positioning.
I pair this tripod with the incredible Arca-Swiss C1 Cube Geared Head from Arca-Swiss as my primary tripod. I have not found a finer combination of tripod and head for use when needing the absolute best in terms of stability and precision.
